Claudine Naganuma is the former director of Danspace, where she taught the Corvino work under Beth Hoge. She has studied the pedagogy of Jose Limón and her teaching and art is inspired by her studies with June Watanabe, Joe Goode, Alwin Nikolais, Mark Morris, and the Tamanos of Harupin Ha.
Claudine received her M.F.A. in Dance from Mills College and is a certified instructor of Dance for PD®. Many of the company members began as part of dNaga as youth. As an open and highly creative bunch of dancers, we invite you to join in. Classes are designed to increase dance technique, ability to work within an ensemble, and increase performance skills while building connection to each other and the audience.
