GIRL Project: Nature Connect

Join us this Fall for fresh air and art through natural products and paints to embody our brightest best selves to heal ourselves and our community. These sessions will be on Sept. 8, 15, 22, 29 and Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27 with a final Día de los Muertos celebration in early November.

GIRL Project activities will be held outdoors after school on Wednesdays from 2:30-5 pm. We will provide snacks and all necessary materials. Our activities are crafted for 11-14 year olds but GIRL Project alumna are also welcome to attend the sessions. Activities include painting, tying sage bundles, identifying native California plants, and more. We will have a special artistic creation for a Día de los Muertos altar led by Xochitl Guerrero.
